Review: Disney Early Morning Magic – Fantasyland
On select Sundays and Tuesdays, Walt Disney World offers a special event at Disney’s Magic Kingdom Park called Disney Early Morning Magic – Fantasyland. Tickets to this event must be purchased separately, it is not included with your Walt Disney World park tickets. Theme park admission is required to attend this event. While it does not come cheap, it does have some benefits. Let’s see what you get.

Walt Disney World in Florida and especially Magic Kingdom Park is a magical experience for most families. My 2 little princesses are very much still into princesses and would be more than happy to fill their days with meet & greets. During our visits, the list of must-do attractions has only increased. The one ride that the girls just cannot get enough of at Magic Kingdom is the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. They are clearly not the only ones as the attraction has an average standby wait time close to 2 hours. Participating in the rope drop (opening) mad dash is just about the only time that you can enjoy this attraction without a long wait.
This event includes a breakfast buffet and Early Access from 8 am to 9 am, with little to no lines, to 3 rides: Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Peter Pan’s Flight and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. These are all very popular rides with very long wait times for standby, 2 of the 3 typically require a Fastpass.

The Fastpass for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train were “sold out” when we booked 35 days prior to arrival. I continued to check every now and then but it did not become available.
Play-by-play
The buses started running for all the parks at 6:45 (maybe earlier). Our bus arrived at 7:10 and we were on our way with 2 princesses still half asleep.
At check-in, we received some information and our event bracelets. By 7:45 we were in the park.

After a few pictures of a somewhat empty park. We were off to the races to ride the 3 rides as many times as possible. The little legs walking as fast as they could. We managed to do a total of 8 rides in 1 hour; Winnie the Pooh 1, Peter Pan 2 and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train 5.
As the rush of people came into the standby line at 9 am, we headed over to enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet. The food was continuously replenished and everything was available until 10 am. The best items were the vegetable frittata, various cheese & meats as well as the bacon (of course).

My opinion
Overall we thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would recommend it. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a good variety. It was a great opportunity to get pictures of Cinderella’s Castle with little to no one in them. This was a great way to get access to Seven Dwarfs Mine Train since we were unable to get a Fastpass for it, plus we were able to use our Fastpass for another attraction. We had the rest of the day to enjoy the other attractions and not spend hours in line for these 3 attractions.
